Rohtas. The habit of burning stubble has now become a cause of danger in Rohtas district, which is leading in paddy cultivation. After harvesting, many farmers burn the paddy straw left in their fields. This not only causes pollution in the air but also reduces the fertility of the soil and also has a negative impact on health. Bikramganj SDM Prabhat Kumar said that burning stubble is against the law and the administration is taking strict steps to stop it. An FIR will be immediately registered against any farmer found burning stubble in his fields and legal action will be taken.
Send stubble to CNG plant
He also suggested the farmers to collect stubble from their fields and send it to the nearby CNG plant or Atkarsh Biofuel Establishment. This will reduce pollution and farmers will also get economic benefits.
