Gaurav Singh/Bhojpur: The cost of living abroad and notebooks is very high for children’s education. However, so that children can complete their studies, many NGOs and groups help at individual level and many government schemes also run which provide various things for children’s education. Such children of Bhojpur of Bihar who are preparing for UPSC, BPSC or Banking will be provided study kits in Buxar and Bhojpur. For this, applications have been invited from the candidates. Study kit will be made available to the candidates who apply within two weeks. Study kits are being provided by Buxar District Employment Exchange for other competitive examinations including competitive examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi and Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna.
District Planning Officer Pranav Prateek said that this scheme is completely free of cost. He has appealed to all the interested students that they can submit the application form at the District Employment Exchange located at Government ITI Charitravan. He said that the study kit will be made available to all the eligible candidates within two weeks of receiving the application. The officer said that applications are being received under the Study Kit Scheme. For this, there should be a minimum registration of six months in the employment exchange. It is necessary to register on NCS portal (ncs.gov.in) at least 6 months in advance.
Under the Study Kit Scheme, candidates preparing for various competitive examinations including UPSC, BPSC, SSC, Railway and Banking will be eligible. In this the age limit is fixed at 18-35 years (as per the examination). For this the annual income should be less than Rs 1,80,000. Talking about the required educational qualification, it is necessary to have Intermediate/Graduation (as per examination), along with prior registration on NCS portal.
The official said that in the selection of beneficiaries, priority will be given to the disabled, transgender, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, economically backward class, backward class, extremely backward and women class. He said that candidates who had previously received study kit and tool kit will not be eligible for this scheme.
