Woman Nose Tape Stuck 35 Years: Imagine, something remains hidden in your body for 35 years and you don’t even realize it! A similar surprising case has come to light with Argentina’s Candela Rabaud. Whenever she found it difficult to breathe, she thought that maybe she had some chronic disease, but the reality was so unique that anyone would be shocked to hear it.
Mother of two children and health influencer, Candela had difficulty in breathing completely through the nose since childhood. One of his nostrils was always half closed, but he had never imagined that a folded piece of tape could be stuck inside.
According to a report, the doctors did an endoscopy and after trying for about an hour, everyone was stunned to see what came out. 35 year old tape comes out of nose!
Candela doesn’t even remember how the tape got in, but after talking to his family, there was only one possibility. When he was born in 1990, he had trouble breathing as a newborn and doctors inserted a tube in his nose. It is possible that during that time a part of the tape was accidentally left inside and remained stuck there for decades.
Candela jokingly says, “Maybe this tape was the reason for breathing through the mouth all his life.” He had problems in everything from exercise, running, sleep, but he never took it seriously considering it a habit.
A year ago, I had a sinus infection, the pain increased and the CT scan revealed the secret of a ‘calcified image’ formed inside the nose.
When the doctors took out the tape, Candela was shocked. She says, “I have never seen anything more strange than this in my life.” Now after the tape is out, she is really relieved. She says happily, “It feels as if my nose has opened after 35 years. Every day I am able to breathe more comfortably than before.”
