Darbhanga: Jalebi is a traditional Indian sweet, which is liked by everyone. Sweet and crispy Jalebi is served for breakfast or on any occasion. Today we will tell you an easy recipe for making Jalebi, by which you can make hotel-like Jalebi at home. Because as soon as the name of Jalebi comes, the memories of childhood become fresh. Everyone must have eaten this Indian sweet in their childhood when it was the time of 15th August and 26th January in school, so let’s make this Indian sweet more delicious at home.
Ingredients for making Jalebi
1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon eno, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1/2 teaspoon water, oil or ghee for frying. Whereas for sugar syrup, 2 glasses of water, 1 glass of sugar and 2-4 cardamom seeds are required.
Know the recipe of Jalebi
1. First of all, grind flour and sugar in a mixer jar.
2. Add Eno and cardamom powder to the mixture of flour and sugar and mix well.
3. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes, so that it mixes well.
4. Put the flour mixture in a bottle and shape it into a jalebi.
5. Heat oil or ghee and fry the jalebi until it turns golden.
6. To make syrup, add water, sugar and cardamom in a vessel and heat it.
7. Heat the syrup until it starts sticking to the finger.
8. Put the fried jalebi in the syrup and leave it for 15 minutes.
9. Serve Jalebi for breakfast and enjoy.
