When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, onion, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and salt and cook until it turns light red. Then after this cook the mutton with turmeric and remaining spices. After 15 minutes, add curd, black pepper, garam masala and cloves to the mutton and leave it covered. If you have a small earthen pot, you can mix all the spices with mutton and put them together in the pot and cook on low flame. For this, wash and clean the pot thoroughly. Then fill the marinated mutton in the pot and pour mustard oil on top. Place a lid on the handi and pack it well with the dough ball. Turn off the gas after 30-45 minutes. When the handi cools down slightly, open it and eat hot mutton curry with rice or roti.
