Amla can be eaten in many ways in winter. Eating a fresh Amla or drinking Amla juice on an empty stomach in the morning is considered most beneficial. Apart from this, Amla jam, chutney, candy or dry Amla can also be eaten. If Amla is consumed mixed with honey to enhance its taste, its benefits further increase.
Although Amla is beneficial for health, consuming it in excessive quantity can cause stomach related problems. People suffering from low blood pressure or any serious disease should seek expert advice before consumption.
