Breaking News Today LIVE: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that it is important to keep the country above everything and now is the time to live for India and not die for it. He was addressing a program organized here on the occasion of the 115th birth anniversary of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s song ‘Sagar Pran Talmala’. Bhagwat said that we remember Savarkar for his patriotism. In our country there should be devotion only towards our country. Language like ‘you will be torn to pieces’ should not be used. He further said that conflicts over small issues reflect today’s thinking. To build a great nation, we have to remember Savarkar’s message and convey it to the people. Pointing towards the division based on caste and religion, Bhagwat said that Savarkar never said that he was from Maharashtra or belonged to any particular caste. He always taught the ideology of one nation. We have to keep the country above all such conflicts. We have to believe that we are all India. He said that it is time for India to live, not to die. Every person is important. Like, along with the monkey army, a small squirrel also contributed in the construction of Ram Setu. Bhagwat said that only by keeping selfishness aside, we can fulfill the dream of Savarkar ji.
