It is very important to control it timely. Cauliflower crop is affected by an insect called Diamond Black Moth which eats the leaves of the crop, it is important to prevent it in the initial days itself. In this news, know those easy measures by adopting which you can easily get rid of these pests. Not only this, this remedy is not chemical at all, but completely organic.

District Horticulture Officer Dr. Puneet Kumar Pathak told that this insect which attacks the soft leaves of cauliflower crop eats the leaves. After this, the plant does not get enough food, the growth of the plant stops and gradually the plant dries up. If there is no timely control, 80 to 90% of the crop can be ruined. To protect the crop from this insect, farmers can spray organic pesticide neem oil.

If Diamond Black Moth is affecting the cauliflower crop and symptoms are visible in the initial stages, then farmers can also take biological measures. Farmers can use NSKE (neem seed kernel extract) 2% or 4%. By doing this the quality of cauliflower will remain intact and pests will also be controlled. Cauliflower grown organically will also fetch higher prices in the market.
