People come from far away places to buy this sesame gajak. This Gajak is prepared in a pure manner. More than two dozen types of Gajak are prepared at the shop. The taste of this Gajak is also quite different.
Gajak is being made here for 70 years
While talking to Local 18, Nitish Jain, who runs a shop named Jain Gajak Bhandar near Ghantaghar intersection of Firozabad, said that Gajak is being prepared at his place for almost 70 years. The Gajak here is also very famous and it is made in a very pure manner. The shopkeeper told that this Gajak is prepared by mixing dry fruits like cashew nuts besides sesame seeds, jaggery and sugar. After eating it, one gets a different taste. First of all, sesame seeds are ground well and Gajak is prepared by mixing jaggery in it. About 27 types of Gajak are made in his shop which people like very much.
