New Delhi. An expressway will soon be built in Rajasthan. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued the notification of this expressway to be built from Bagru in Jaipur to Patau in Balotra. Now its DPR will be made. Consulting Engineer Group CEG Limited has been given the responsibility of preparing the DPR. Six districts of the state will benefit from this 278 kilometer long expressway. With its construction, it will take one and a half hour less to go from Pali to Jaipur. This expressway will also be connected to Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway. This will further increase the connectivity of Rajasthan with Punjab and Gujarat.
This expressway will pass through six districts, Pali, Jaipur, Ajmer, Beawar, Jalore and Balotra. 52 kilometers will be constructed in Jaipur, 52 to 120 kilometers in Ajmer, 120 to 161 kilometers in Beawar, 161 to 226 kilometers in Pali, 226 to 235 kilometers in Jalore and 235 to 278 kilometers in Balotra. With its construction, people will be able to go directly from Rohat area to Jaipur and Jodhpur.
Jaipur-Balotra Expressway Route
This expressway will start from Bagru, 28 kilometers before Jaipur, and will be built till Patau in Balotra. It will pass through 31 villages of Pali which include Indra Nagar, Sampa, Khetawas, Pali, Bhambolai, Bhalelav, Nimbada, Nimbli Urra, Bagadiya, Dudiya, Kanawas, Dhabar, Kharda, Bandai, Chotila, Sawaipura, Bithu, Revda Khurd etc. It will pass through Barwa and Dhana villages of Ahor tehsil of Jalore. It will pass through villages like Thakar Kheda, Majal, Karmawas, Thapan, Muthali Kusip of Balotra.
It will take less than one to one and a half hour
With the construction of this expressway, the distance from Pali to Balotra will reduce from 155 kilometers to 115 kilometers. Currently it takes 3 hours to travel between the two cities. Once the expressway is built, it will take only one and a half hour.
