Today we will tell you the recipe of a special chutney made from coconut and gooseberry, which is delicious as well as full of nutrition. Ingredients
Fresh coconut – 1 cup (grated)
Amla – 3-4 (remove seeds and cut into pieces)
Green chilli – 2-3
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 2-3 cloves (optional)
Salt – as per taste
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves – a handful
Water – as per need
For tempering:
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
Dry red chilli – 1
Method of preparation
Prepare Ingredients: Grate the coconut and wash the gooseberry and remove the seeds.
Grinding: Add coconut, amla, green chilli, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and salt in the mixer. Make a smooth paste by adding some water.
Enhance Taste: Add lemon juice and roasted cumin powder to it and mix well.
Add tempering: Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, then prepare tadka by adding curry leaves and dried red chillies. Put it on the chutney.
How to serve?
This chutney tastes great with dosa, idli, paratha or roti. You can also use it as a sandwich spread.
