Dr. Inderjit Verma tells that Tharparkar cow is ‘milky gold’ for cattle farmers. Its specialty is that it has the ability to tolerate extreme heat and cold. This cow is extremely different compared to other breeds of cows.
According to animal expert Dr. Inderjit Verma, the color of this cow is white or grey. There are light blue colored stripes on the back. Its head is of medium size with forehead and wide ears and the tail is thin and long.
This cow produces about 15 to 18 liters of milk per day. Its price ranges from 20 thousand rupees to 60 thousand rupees. This cow has the capacity to produce 1500 to 2200 liters of milk in one calving.
