America’s New York City is the richest city in the world in terms of GDP. Out of the list of top-20 cities, 11 cities are from America alone. Tokyo, Paris and London are also included in this list. No city of India is in this list.

The special thing is that America has such dominance on this list that only 11 of its cities are included in the top-20. Mega-cities like New York and Tokyo are running economies worth billions and trillions of dollars on their own.
Recently, quoting FRED economic data, World of Statistics has released the list of the top-20 cities in the world whose GDP is highest on the social media platform X. America’s dominance is clearly visible in this list. Out of the top-20 richest cities, 11 are from America alone. At the same time, Tokyo of Japan, Paris of France and London of Britain also register their strong presence.
New York has the highest GDP
New York City tops the list, whose GDP is 2.3 trillion dollars. This is such a huge amount that it is more than the total economy of many small countries. Tokyo of Japan is at second place, whose GDP is 2.1 trillion dollars. No city of India has got a place in the list of top-20 richest cities.
