Let us tell you that on the joint initiative of the Department of Forest and Climate Change (DEF&CC), Bihar and Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), the Bird Ringing and Monitoring Station has released the record of migratory birds.
Bar Headed Goose may look like a normal duck like bird. But this is a very rare and extraordinary migratory bird. It is known for its high flying. It also has the ability to reach heights very fast. It flies at such heights, where one-third oxygen is present in the air as compared to sea level. To fly higher, the area of their wings is also slightly larger in proportion to their weight.
Little Tern is a very beautiful water bird. Small size and fast flight distinguish it from other birds. Everyone gets mesmerized by seeing its white-gray shiny wings and the agility emanating from its sharp beak. Despite being small, the energy and speed of the Little Tern is amazing, this bird not only enhances the beauty of the water bodies, but also plays an important role in maintaining environmental balance.
