The AYUSH doctor told that ghee is used in our house. People also eat it, but elderly people should consume ghee during winter season. He said that there is a lubricant present in our joints, which gradually reduces with increasing age and due to less lubrication of the bones, there is a problem of pain in the joints.
That smoothness is maintained by continuous use of ghee. He said that castor oil is also very useful in this. If one spoon of castor oil is consumed every day for 20 consecutive days, then this problem of pain can be avoided. He said that adding one spoon of castor oil to any beverage like tea, milk etc. and consuming it is very beneficial.

Dr. Rash Bihari Tiwari explains that when the temperature falls, the veins shrink and the lubrication in the joints starts decreasing, due to which pain, stiffness and difficulty in walking increases. He said that massaging with lukewarm mustard oil mixed with celery or garlic is also very beneficial.

As the next remedy, he told that fenugreek, turmeric and garlic are very beneficial for joints in winter. Soaking fenugreek seeds overnight and eating them on an empty stomach in the morning, drinking turmeric milk and warming them with lukewarm water provide a lot of relief to the elderly. Dr. Tiwari told that immersing the feet in lukewarm water mixed with salt can also provide instant relief.
