West Champaran Weather update: Westerly winds are currently blowing in the district located in the northern part of Bihar. A continuous drop in temperature is being recorded here. Due to which people here are feeling cold throughout the day. The minimum temperature in these areas has also reached below 7 degrees Celsius.
The districts located in the northern part of the state are in the grip of westerly winds these days. These cold winds coming from the hilly areas are affecting the temperature to such an extent that people are forced to shiver throughout the day. It is a matter of concern that similar cold conditions will continue in some other districts including Champaran for the next few days. However, there are chances of sunshine by afternoon. But due to cold winds the condition of Kankani will remain.
Mountain winds increased the intensity
Most of the areas in the forest areas of the district like Ramnagar, Bagaha, Gaunaha etc. blocks are under the grip of dense fog in the morning. Visibility is very low in these areas in the morning. Not only this, due to being adjacent to Nepal, the minimum temperature of these areas has also reached below 7 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, Kaimur district has been witnessing the maximum cold for the last several days. On Friday, the temperature in the forest areas here was recorded at 6.6°C.
Temperature dropped to 6.6° Celsius
Similarly, on Saturday night, while the temperature in a total of 15 districts including Purnia, Katihar, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Arwal, Jehanabad, Aurangabad remained between 10°C to 11.5°C, the temperature in many districts including West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Gaya and Banka was recorded between 6.6°C to 10°C. Meteorologists have expressed the possibility that in the next three Similar cold conditions will continue in the state for four days. Yes, there is a possibility of sunshine between morning and afternoon. But, due to cold winds the condition of Kankani may remain intact.

According to experts, the feeling of cold will be more in the morning and evening. Especially in rural areas, dense fog with cold winds may prevail. In such a situation, people will have to take serious precautions while traveling to protect themselves from cold.
