For the last few days, people are getting relief from severe cold and cold wave. But now there is a possibility of increasing cold. In this episode, the Indian Meteorological Center has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in the western Himalayan region and rain activity in the plains of northwestern India from 24 to 26 January on Sunday. Along with this, snowfall activity has also been predicted in the hilly areas.
Fog will be called shadow in these states
The Meteorological Department said that during the next 3 days, there will be an increase of 2-3 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature in many parts of East India. IMD has told that there is a possibility of dense fog during the night and morning in Himachal Pradesh and Bihar during the next 24 hours and Odisha during the next 48 hours. IMD also informed that in the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature remained in the range of 6-10 degree Celsius in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and West Rajasthan, Bihar, East Rajasthan and North-West Madhya Pradesh.

The IMD has told that during January 24 to 26, the Western Disturbance will move eastwards from the Arabian Sea with high moisture in the Western Himalayan region. The IMD has predicted that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall over the western Himalayan region on 22 and 23 January. The intensity and distribution of rain will increase, leading to an increase in rain or snowfall during January 24 to 26. On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy rain or snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on January 24 and 25.

There will be heavy rains in Uttarakhand on 25 and 26 January. There is a possibility of light rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on 23 January. Rainfall will increase with widespread rain and thundershowers over these states during January 24-26. There is also a possibility of hailstorm on January 24 in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad.

The IMD said that there is also a possibility of hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh on January 24 and 25, western Uttar Pradesh on January 25, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh during January 24 to 26.
