Varanasi: Cold wave has gripped many cities of UP. The situation is that the nights have become very cold in different districts of the state. Ayodhya had the coldest night in the state in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature here was 5.5 degrees Celsius. The weather department estimates that right now this is just a trailer of cold. The cold will increase further in the coming days because the minimum temperature will fall again after the next 48 hours.
The Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has predicted that on Monday, Mathura, Aligarh, Kanpur, Agra, Etawah, Kannauj, Jhansi, Ayodhya, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Kansagaj, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Maharajganj, Sonbhadra, Shamli, Fog will be seen early in the morning in Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Unnao, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Rampur and Bareilly. During this period, there is a possibility of moderate fog with visibility of 500 to 600 meters in some districts.
Light fog may be seen in the state capital Lucknow on Monday. There will be sunshine in Lucknow as the day progresses. But the cold winds in the evening will again make people feel melted. It is forecast that today the minimum temperature in Lucknow will be around 11 and the maximum will be around 25 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the weather is expected to be similar in Noida adjacent to Delhi.
The mercury will drop after two days
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that again a new western disturbance is coming. In such a situation, it is expected that the cold will increase again in the next two days and then along with the maximum, the minimum temperature will also fall. In such a situation, cold wave outbreak will be seen in the entire state.
