The easiest way to avoid pillow related diseases is to dry your pillow in the sun once every week. According to the report, the ultraviolet rays emitted by sunlight destroy the DNA of bacteria. Besides this, it stops mold spores and prevents mites from growing. Therefore, expose your pillow to sunlight once every week.
According to research, if these pillows are left in the sun for 2 to 3 hours, the bacteria or fungus will die or their effect will be reduced. Leave it in direct sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. This will kill 90 percent of the bacteria.
