The world smallest guava: Farmer Rajendra Atal of Saharanpur district has prepared a unique variety of guava. Which is being called the world’s smallest guava. This variety is also known as Chinese or Dwarf Guava. The height of this plant is only two and a half to four feet and it can be easily cultivated not only in the fields but also in pots on the terrace or courtyard of the house. Guava is of small size. But they look very sweet and attractive. According to the farmer, this variety does not require much fertilizer and it gives fruits for the whole 12 months. Even excess water and heat have no effect on it. The 18–20 saplings planted by Rajendra Atal have been completely successful, due to which the enthusiasm among the farmers for the cultivation of this variety has increased.
