Skymet’s big update: Big disturbance will not reach Uttarakhand
Skymet Weather Vice President Mahesh Palawal said that a major western disturbance will be active around December 20, 21 and 22, but it will not directly affect Uttarakhand. He told that this disturbance will be limited to Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh and northern parts of Pakistan. The possibility of its impact on Uttarakhand is very less. Due to which the weather will remain dry here, although cold will start increasing in cities like Nainital. But there is no possibility of snowfall around December 25. In such a situation, this time a bitterly cold Christmas is almost certain, but the situation regarding snowfall is not yet clear. In such a situation, tourists reaching Nainital with the dream of a White Christmas may have to wait longer.
