However, this relief was limited to only one day. As the temperature dropped in the evening, the chill increased significantly. According to the Meteorological Department, especially in the plain areas, the minimum temperature is being recorded 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal, which is increasing the dry cold. Even in the hilly areas, the day temperature remains higher than normal, but the minimum temperature is continuously going down.
Dry weather will continue till Tuesday
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state on Sunday i.e. today and Monday and no major change in the temperature is expected. People will continue to get respite from the sun during the day, while severe cold will continue at night. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert that after the next 2 days i.e. from Tuesday, there can be a big change in the weather pattern of the state. A rapid decline in mercury will be recorded. Due to this, the chill will reach its peak in both the plains and hilly areas. Along with this, severe cold will begin for the month of December with the drop in temperature.
Chance of snowfall and rain in high Himalayan regions on December 5

Today the maximum temperature here is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 9 degrees Celsius.

At the same time, the maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was recorded at 20.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 4.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 19.0 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 6.2 degrees Celsius.
