Vikas Jha/Faridabad: The weather in Haryana is going to take a turn once again. As the last week of November approaches, the effect of cold has started intensifying and meteorologists say that from December 1, the effect of fog and cold winds may increase in the entire state. It will remain cloudy for the next two days, but as December begins, north-westerly winds will strengthen their grip. Due to these winds, humidity in the air will also increase and dense fog can be seen in the morning and night. In the coming days, the night temperature will go down and a cold wave-like effect will be felt.
In view of the increasing threat of haze, Hisar Airport administration has started preparations in advance. The markings on the runway are being re-glazed, so that planes can land easily even in low visibility. The airport team is working day and night so that the December fog does not stop the speed of flights.
Talking about temperature, the average minimum temperature of Haryana has gone up slightly in the last 24 hours, but still remains around normal. Narnaul was the coldest area of the state at this time where the night temperature reached close to 8 degrees. There has been a slight increase in warmth in Ambala, Rohtak, Gurugram and many other districts, but experts say that this increase is only for a few days. After December 1, the nights will become cold again.
The areas where the Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum impact of haze are Rewari, Mahendragarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Nuh, Palwal, Bhiwani, Jhajjar and Rohtak. In these districts, drivers will need to be especially careful in the morning. Because visibility may be reduced. According to meteorological experts of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, there is no possibility of rain till December 3. Light clouds will definitely come on 29th and 30th November, but this will not provide much relief from the cold. Humidity will increase from 1st December and along with it the fog may also deepen. There is a possibility of light fog in North and Western Haryana and moderate fog in Southern Haryana. The weather will be pleasant due to sunshine in the afternoon, but cold will show its effect in the morning and evening. In the coming days, the day temperature is expected to be 23 to 26 degrees and the night temperature is expected to be 6 to 10 degrees.
