According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature for the next two days, but after this the temperature may fall by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next three days. Due to this, there is a possibility of increase in cold especially in the areas of North and Central Chhattisgarh. During the last 24 hours in the state, the highest maximum temperature of 29.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jagdalpur, while the lowest minimum temperature of 06.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ambikapur. It is clear from this that the effect of cold is being seen more in Surguja division.
