Komal Kumari told that in winter the skin becomes most dry at night, hence it is best to do a light massage with coconut oil before sleeping. Coconut oil gets absorbed quickly into the skin and keeps the skin moisturized throughout the night. Apply it in equal quantity on face, hands and feet, after waking up in the morning the skin will start feeling absolutely soft.
To remove facial dryness, you can apply a pack of milk and honey twice a week. Komal told that for this, mix half a spoon of honey in one spoon of raw milk and apply it on the face. Wash it after about fifteen minutes, it adds moisture to the skin and reduces dryness of the face immediately. This pack also gives natural glow in winter.
Komal told that glycerin and rose water are the best solution to remove dryness of hands and feet in winter. Mix both in equal quantity and apply it every night before sleeping. It softens the skin and also gives great relief to cracked fingers or heels.

In winter, dead cells accumulate quickly on the skin, hence making a light scrub of oatmeal and milk and using it before bathing is very beneficial. This cleanses the skin and also maintains moisture. It reduces dryness of the body to a great extent.
Komal said that the heels start cracking in winter. Therefore, apply lukewarm mustard oil on your feet and massage for 5 minutes. After this, wear cotton socks. This softens the heels and reduces cracking significantly.
Komal Kumari told that curd is the easiest home remedy for dry and stretched facial skin in winter. For this, mix a little gram flour in curd and apply it on the face like a face mask. This provides instant moisture to the skin and reduces whiteness and lines caused by cold.
