Depositing Time In Bank Will Also Give Support In Old Age : In the growing age, when even children are not able to live together due to business, then in such a situation the elderly become alone in the house. There is no one to take care of them. Sometimes there is a delay in reaching them in difficult times. Featured in WION news report According to this, in view of this, the Government of Switzerland has started a new scheme. The name of this scheme is ‘Time Bank’. Under this scheme, by serving an elderly person today, you can save that time in the time bank, so that in future, if you need someone near you, you can also get some service for you. This means that now there is no need to worry much about being with anyone in old age. Rather, you can take some time out from today and use that time in old age. Under this, the people of the country can take care of the deteriorating health of the needy elderly or spend time with them to remove their loneliness. This time spent with the elderly gets deposited in the social security account of these volunteers as ‘time units’. In such a situation, when these volunteers will reach old age and if there is a time when they will also need help in some work, then Time Bank will arrange that volunteer for them.
In this way, for the amount of time they have deposited in the time bank after serving an elderly, they will also be able to get help for themselves for the same amount of time. This scheme, implemented by the Health Ministry of Switzerland, has been specially designed keeping in mind the elderly living alone.
