There has also been mixed business in the sectoral index. BSE Auto, Consumer Durables, FMCG, IT and Tech sectors dominated the sell-off. Apart from this, capital goods, healthcare, metal, oil and gas, PSU sectors have closed in the green mark.

Fast 14 shares
Sensex heavy stocks also fell today. 16 of the 30 shares closed in the red mark. Apart from this, shopping was done in 14 shares. Today Powergrid closed with a gain of 6 per cent. On the other hand, ONGC, NTPC, Kotak Bank, Reliance, Maruti, LT, TechM, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma, Baja Auto, Bharti Airtel and IndusInd Bank closed up sharply.
Today there is a sale in 16 shares. The biggest decline has been seen in Axis Bank. Apart from this, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI, TCS, Asian paints, HDFC, ITC have all closed in red mark.

BSE Smallcap-Midcap Index
Smallcap and midcap indices have been growing well. All three indices have closed with an increase. The BSE Smallcap index has closed at the level of 19778.67 with a gain of 84.80 points. Apart from this, the midcap index closed at 20228.07 with a gain of 38.38 points. At the same time, the CAX Midcap index closed at the level of 23316.50 with a gain of 102.80 points.
