Uttarakhand Animal Attack: In the meeting of Forest Ministry in Delhi, Anil Baluni and Trivendra Singh Rawat seriously raised the issue of attacks by leopard, bear and elephants in Uttarakhand and demanded immediate action.

In the meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Forest and Environment in Delhi, the issue of problems being faced by humans due to predatory wildlife in Uttarakhand was raised. According to information received from sources, Uttarakhand MPs Anil Baluni and Trivendra Singh Rawat raised the issue loudly and seriously. According to information received by News 18 quoting sources, BJP MP from Garhwal Anil Baluni raised the issue of problems being caused by leopards and bears in the hilly state. Due to many violent activities of leopards and bears in Uttarakhand recently, many people have lost their lives and many have been seriously injured.
Along with this, according to information received from sources by News 18, BJP MP from Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat raised the issue of elephant terror. Trivendra Singh Rawat says that there is a need to improve the elephant corridor in the Terai region so that humans can be saved from their wrath.
Anil Baluni had raised this issue in the Lok Sabha recently.
Raising this issue in the Lok Sabha, Anil Baluni said that citizens are continuously losing their lives and getting injured due to attacks by wild animals in Uttarakhand. Due to this, villagers leaving their homes, children going to school, women going to the forest are not free from danger. He has expressed the need for quick and effective strategy and action in this regard.

In this regard, Anil Baluni had also met Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav a few days ago and raised this issue. Along with this, a demand was also made to take immediate and effective action against these increasing attacks. BJP MP from Garhwal Anil Baluni had also demanded the PCCF of Uttarakhand Forest Department to regularly review the situation of wild animal attacks and provide daily reports.
