Actor Manoj Bajpayee has made an interesting revelation regarding lifestyle during an interview. He told that for the last 13-14 years he has completely skipped dinner. Many people were surprised to hear this, because late evening meal is considered an important part of Indian diet. But Manoj says that behind his decision there is no fashion trend or diet plan, but his family’s habit and his own experience. Actually, he tells that his grandfather used to be very fit and thin. Watching his grandfather’s daily routine, Manoj felt for the first time that perhaps meal time plays a big role in our health. This thinking gradually transformed into his daily routine and he started skipping dinner.
Manoj Bajpayee says that he did not suddenly decide to leave the dinner. Initially he tried to eat lightly at night and then gradually stopped it completely. Today they keep their food window from 9 am to 3 pm. This is considered a method of intermittent fasting, in which a person eats food only during a certain period of the day. According to Manoj, this routine has brought positive changes in his life. They feel lighter, more active and energetic than before. According to him, not eating at night has improved his digestion and there is no unnecessary burden on the body.
He also told that this eating habit has helped a lot in keeping his weight under control. According to Manoj, when we eat food at night and sleep immediately, the body takes more time and energy to digest the food. At the same time, the food eaten during the day is easily digested because the body remains active throughout the day. This is the reason why they no longer have to worry about gaining weight. Besides, many parameters like blood sugar and cholesterol have also remained better. According to doctors, keeping a fixed food window can reduce inflammation in the body, which reduces the risk of many diseases.
However, Manoj believes that every person’s body is different and it is not necessary that this method suits everyone. He says that anyone who wants to change his eating habits, should first keep in mind his lifestyle and needs. This method worked for Manoj because he has been following a disciplined lifestyle for a long time and his sleep and work schedule is also quite balanced.
