A year ago, they fell in love, after which the Muslim youth took a wedding procession from Gonda to the girl’s village to marry the Dalit girl. When people saw this sight they were surprised. People started wondering whether this wedding procession had come here by mistake. But when people came to know the truth of the marriage, they were stunned. At the same time, when Hindu organizations got information, the marriage was stopped. The police reached the spot and took the groom and the wedding guests into custody and took them to the police station.
Boy and girl met at relative’s wedding

People were surprised to see the wedding procession of Muslim youth
The family members agreed and preparations for the wedding procession began. When the wedding procession reached home, the villagers were stunned to see the Muslim youth and people of a particular community in the wedding procession. Someone informed the Hindu organization about this. People of the organization reached the spot and protested against it, accusing it of love jihad. On receiving information about the incident, the police arrived and seeing the matter escalating, took about half a dozen wedding guests including the groom into custody. The girl is from a middle class family. His father earns his living by doing hard labor in the village. The girl is the eldest among three sisters and one brother.
No one filed a complaint in the police station
People told that Sajid lives in Mumbai and works as POP. Police Station Head Bhanu Pratap Singh said that no complaint has been received from any side. Both are adults. Police is investigating the matter. SP Abhinandan said that information was received that a marriage was taking place between two communities in Parasrampura police station area, on which some people raised objection. Based on the information, the police is investigating the entire matter. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
