Ayodhya Dhwajarohan: The grand flag hoisting at the peak of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. More than 500 local artists gave a pleasing performance at the flag hoisting ceremony of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This information was given in an official statement released on Tuesday. According to the statement, the holy city was immersed in joy over the ceremony related to the grand flag hoisting on the peak of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple of Ayodhya. The cultural program presented by the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department on this historic event with the dignified presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi illuminated Ramnagari with the light of divinity.
Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh was quoted as saying that on 24 and 25 November, local artists of various genres gave pleasing presentations on behalf of the Culture Department. Fulfilling the Prime Minister’s mantra of ‘One India, Best India’, cultural glimpses of different genres continued to resonate in different parts of Ayodhya, which seemed to give new dimensions to the ancient traditions of the city. On the occasion of flag hoisting, folk artists from different districts of the state gave a colorful presentation. A confluence of diverse folk traditions of Braj, Awadh, Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and Terai regions was seen on different stages in Ayodhya Dham. Artists gave colorful performances in Mayur folk dance from Mathura, Rai folk dance from Jhansi, Faruvahi, Badhawa and Karwaha folk dance from Ayodhya, Awadhi from Lucknow, Karma and Barah Singha from Sonbhadra, Dhedhiya from Prayagraj, Dhobia from Azamgarh and Vantangiya folk dance from Gorakhpur.
The sages and saints described the flag hoisting on the peak of Ram temple on Tuesday as a moment of emotional, historical and eternal pride and said that it was imagined by their ancestors centuries ago. The saints present at the flag hoisting ceremony said that this is not only a religious moment but also a testimony to the global prestige of Sanatan Aastha. The saints described it as the result of a struggling journey in which the saints, devotees and society displayed indomitable patience and faith for hundreds of years. The sages and saints said that the hoisting of the religious flag further strengthens the spiritual heritage of India and strongly establishes the glory of Sanatan faith in the entire world.

Saint Dilip Das of Ram Vaidehi Temple said that the way Sanatan culture has been revived under the Ayodhya Mission is praiseworthy. He described Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as making continuous efforts for the purpose of protecting and establishing religion. Saint Dilip Das said that Yogi is not only a Chief Minister but also a guardian of the protection of religious traditions.
