New Vande Bharat Trains: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Kashi today on 7th November on a two-day visit. During his visit to Kashi, PM will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on November 8. This will prove to be a big step towards further strengthening India’s modern railway system.
PM Modi will flag off a Vande Bharat train from Banaras railway station. Along with this, the PM will virtually flag off three more Vande Bharat trains going from Lucknow to Saharanpur, Firozpur to Delhi and Ernakulam to Bengaluru. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present there on this occasion. PM Modi can also talk to people at Banaras station.
All these cities will benefit
These new Vande Bharat Express trains will run on Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Ferozepur-Delhi and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes. With this, travel time between big cities will be significantly reduced. This will increase the convenience of commuting in the areas, promote tourism and strengthen economic activities in the entire country.
The journey will be completed in less time
Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will provide direct connectivity on this route and will save about 2 hours 40 minutes from the special trains currently running. This train will also connect some of the most revered religious and cultural places of India like Varanasi, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot. This will strengthen religious and cultural tourism, as well as provide fast, modern and comfortable travel for pilgrims and travelers to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Khajuraho.
Apart from this, Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat will complete the journey in about 7 hours 45 minutes and will save about one hour. This train will provide great benefit to the passengers of Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor and Saharanpur, and it will also be easy to reach the holy city like Haridwar via Roorkee. Fast travel between cities in central and western Uttar Pradesh will play an important role in connectivity and regional development. Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on this route and will complete the journey in just 6 hours 40 minutes. This train will connect the national capital with major cities of Punjab like Bathinda and Patiala. This will increase trade, tourism and employment opportunities, and socio-economic development of border areas.
In South India, Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat will save more than two hours and complete the journey in 8 hours 40 minutes. This train will connect big IT and business centres, providing a fast and comfortable option to professionals, students and tourists. The route will increase economic activities and tourism between Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
