Chitrakoot: In Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh, a case of fraud worth lakhs has come to light with two real brothers who had come to buy gold biscuits. Vicious thugs have absconded with fake biscuits worth Rs 2 lakh 55 thousand. After being cheated, the two victim brothers had given false information to the police that they had been robbed, after which the police reached the spot and investigated for hours. Later, fake gold biscuits and some cash were recovered from the victim brothers, due to which the false robbery incident was exposed and the police started searching for the vicious thugs.
Brothers created a false story of robbery

After this, police from several police stations reached the spot and started investigation. When Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh himself reached the spot and started investigating the incident with the two victim brothers, it was revealed that both the brothers had come to Chitrakoot to buy gold biscuits, the vicious thugs gave them fake gold biscuits and ran away with the money.

When they saw the gold biscuits, they turned out to be fake gold biscuits. After this, to hide the incident of cheating, they had given false information about the robbery to the police, which the victims accepted during interrogation. Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh has told that the two victim brothers had come to Chitrakoot with Rs 2 lakh 55 thousand from home to buy gold biscuits. A few months ago, while going from Raipur to Bilaspur, they had met a person in the train with whom they had made a deal to get the gold unearthed at a cheap price. Who came today to collect gold.
Police in search of thugs
They caught hold of fake gold biscuits and ran away. When they realized this, they created a story of robbery. When the police searched them, fake gold biscuits and Rs 20,000 were recovered from them, which proved that the robbery incident was false. More inquiries are being made in the matter and the vicious thugs who were giving fake gold biscuits are being searched.
