Housewife Manju Bande, working in the village kitchen, told the easy and homely way of making this traditional vegetable, which anyone can easily make at home.

Made by mixing potatoes with Lal Bhaji, Palak Bhaji, Bhathwa Bhaji, Methi Bhaji and Mooli Bhaji, this vegetable is a great combination of taste and health. Green leafy vegetables provide essential vitamins and iron to the body.
This is how village kitchen vegetables are prepared
According to Manju Bande, first of all, oil is heated in a pan and seasoning of dry chilli and garlic is applied. After this, onion is added and fried until it turns golden. Then chopped potatoes are added and fried until they become soft. After this, all the mixed vegetables are added, covered and cooked for about 5 minutes.
Special taste comes from spices
After cooking the vegetables, salt is added as per taste. Along with this, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala are mixed and the vegetable is cooked thoroughly for about 10 minutes. The combination of spices and vegetables gives a special desi taste to the vegetable.

This mixed vegetable dish is full of nutrition and gives strength to the body. It can be served with roti or rice.
