Surendra Kumar, an expert in plant nursery for a long time, while giving special information about the care of plants in winter, says that in winter, the plants often wither due to lack of knowledge about the care of the plants. Such people have to take special care of water which plays the most important role in the care of plants in winter. In winter, watering should be neither more nor less. Plants survive for a long time only when the amount of water is limited. Apart from this, use of fertilizer from time to time is also very important. Because many times plants wither due to poor quality of soil.
When and how to give water and fertilizer?
In the winter season, especially when the sun does not rise, the requirement of water for plants reduces significantly. In such a situation, if you water it every day, then due to excess water your plant may wither or it may get diseased. In such a situation, watering has to be done on the second or third day after checking the soil moisture. Talking about manure, weeding and hoeing have to be done once every 6 months to a year and new vermicompost or cow dung has to be added. By doing this the quality of the soil is maintained and the plants last longer. Talking about the quantity of water, water should not be more than half a liter in the pot. Putting it above this can cause harm to the plants and if you are putting it in the bed then you can pour it a little above this. Apart from this, it is also very important to remove weeds from the bed or pot from time to time. By keeping these things in mind, you can keep your plants healthy.
