When she went near him to scold him, he again made obscene gestures towards her. When they tried to catch him, he closed the window glass which trapped Swati Maliwal’s hand. After this, he increased the speed of the vehicle while dragging them along with the car for several metres. Although she somehow managed to escape.

After this, Swati immediately called the Delhi Police on 112. Within minutes the police arrived and after some time the man was caught and arrested. A complaint has been made in this matter to the Delhi Police.
Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal said, ‘After the Kanjhawala Murder Case, I wanted to assess the security situation in entire Delhi, that is why I was on inspection at night. We have seen many dark spots in different areas and will issue notices to the concerned authorities for this.
