Jind News: In Narwana, Jind, a miscreant suddenly opened fire in broad daylight and fled from there after giving a slip to a businessman. In this slip the criminal has demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. In the slip, a threat has also been given to pay the amount within three days.
Jind: Firing took place in broad daylight at around 12 noon on Sunday at a Jain clothing shop located near Apollo Chowk on the busy railway road of Narwana district. The firing incident spread sensation in the entire area. The miscreant created an atmosphere of panic by firing at the shop and also gave a slip to a shop owner on the spot. In this slip the criminal has demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. In the slip, a threat has also been given to pay the amount within three days.
Police assured action
After the incident, there was chaos in the market and an atmosphere of fear was created among the shopkeepers. As soon as the information was received, the city police station and special police team reached the spot and started investigation. On receiving information about the firing, local MLA and Haryana Cabinet Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi also reached the spot and met the shop owner Naresh Jain and got information about the entire incident. The Cabinet Minister said that the criminals will not be spared under any circumstances and they will be arrested soon.
Huge anger among the business class
Shop owner Naresh Jain told that about two years ago also a ransom was demanded from him, the complaint of which was given to the police. Now again there is huge anger among the business class due to such incident. After the incident, security arrangements have been tightened on the railway road and nearby markets. Cabinet Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi instructed the police officers to provide proper security to the businessman. He also said that shopkeepers should not live in an environment of fear and should do their business fearlessly.
Police checking CCTV
Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the criminals and interrogation of the suspects is ongoing. On the other hand, the traders have united and demanded strict action against the accused who opened fire. Police claim that the matter will be revealed soon and all possible steps are being taken to maintain the peace and order of the city.
