Pundarik Goswami Maharaj became the first Vaishnavacharya through the Geeta Satsang organized for three days at Har Ki Paadi in Haridwar. Many eminent saints of the country – Morari Bapu, Ramesh Bhai Ojha, Avadheshanand Maharaj, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Swami Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – have heard the story from him.
Vaishnavacharya Pundarik Goswami Maharaj is today recognized among those saints who have created history while staying within the tradition. As the 38th Acharya of Radharaman Temple located in Vrindavan, he has given many historical achievements to the Vaishnav tradition. He is the first Vyas in the country who organized a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Uparashtrapati Bhawan. This event is considered an important milestone in the history of Indian spirituality. After this, he gave a new direction to cultural renaissance by performing the first Bhagwat Katha in the courtyard of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
Through the Geeta Satsang held for three days at Har Ki Paadi in Haridwar, he became the first Vaishnavacharya, who connected the nation with the glory of Geeta and Ganga from this holy place. His presence at the Bhoomi Pujan and Pran Pratistha ceremony of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya underlined the central role of Vaishnav tradition. He organized the seven-day Bhagwat Katha in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi courtyard of Mathura without any fee and handled all the arrangements himself. Organizing Katha among the Birla family and prominent people associated with the industry in Kolkata shows his wide acceptance.
Many eminent saints of the country – Morari Bapu, Ramesh Bhai Ojha, Avadheshanand Maharaj, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Swami Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – have heard the story from him. The Tulsi Award presented by Morari Bapu is a formal recognition of his spiritual achievements. Organizing Hanuman Katha for the first time in Bageshwar Dham of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and the role of the chief guest in the historic program connecting North-South Vaishnav sects reflects his activism. With studies from Oxford, specialization in theology and a doctorate degree, Pundarik Goswami Maharaj has today become a prominent representative of the Indian Vaishnava tradition on the global stage.
