IndiGo Flight Cancellations- The government believes that whatever irregularities are happening in IndiGo are not due to any government lapse, but are an “operational problem” created by the airline. Indications have started coming that the government will take strict action against the airlines.
New Delhi. Thousands of passengers have faced huge problems due to cancellation of Indigo flights. The special thing is that there has been disruption in the operations of IndiGo, which has 60 percent share in the Indian market, while the services of other airlines are normal. The government is now in a mood to take strict action against Indigo. Civil Aviation Minister KR Mohan Naidu has made it clear that IndiGo is responsible for the crisis and the government is taking it very seriously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is keeping an eye on this issue and is continuously giving guidance. The minister says that air services will become normal after December 10.
Naidu said that investigation is also underway as to why the problem occurred only in IndiGo. He said that it has been decided to reduce the number of IndiGo flights and strict action will be taken based on the investigation report. The government’s action will set “an example” so that such incidents do not happen again.
