Agriculture News: A 5-day special training program on mushroom production is being started by the Agricultural Science Center in Bhojpur from 15th and 16th December. The objective of this training is to enable the farmers to produce mushroom through modern technology.
An important opportunity has become available for farmers and women from farmers’ families in Bhojpur. A 5-day special training program on mushroom production is being started by Krishi Vigyan Kendra from 15th and 16th December. The objective of this training is to enable the farmers to produce mushroom through modern technology so that they can start their own employment and earn additional income.
According to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, this training will be completely practical, in which farmers will be given every small and big information from the beginning to the last stage of mushroom production. Farmers will be given detailed information related to mushrooms in the training. Such as how different varieties of mushrooms are grown, management of proper temperature and humidity, method of seed selection and substrate preparation, disease and pest control, process of transporting and selling finished mushrooms to the market, calculation of cost and profit.
Farmers will be given training in mushroom farming
To participate in this training, farmers must be below 45 years of age. The organizing institute says that young farmers and women can benefit more from this training. Therefore, the age limit has been fixed. A total of 25 to 30 farmers will be included in the program. Due to limited seats, interested farmer brothers and sisters should contact as soon as possible. Farmers whose names have been left out of the list. Those who have never applied before can register directly by reaching the Krishi Vigyan Kendra. After the training, the participants will be given a certificate, which will be helpful in getting government schemes, bank loan or starting their own mushroom production business. Krishi Vigyan Kendra believes that mushroom production is an industry which gives high income in short time. With this training, farmers will be able to take an important step towards self-reliance.
30 farmers will get training
Officials of the center said that many farmers in the district have already learned mushroom production and are running successful businesses. New participants will also get modern technology and expert guidance, which will make this training very beneficial for them. Interested farmers can contact before the date of training and ensure their presence. This program can become a new and permanent source of income for farmers.
