Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct MTS Paper 1 & Paper 2 written exam for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) MTS in various States and Union Territories.

About SSC Multitasking Paper 1 & Paper 2 Exam:
All Eligible candidates will be called for SSC MTS Exam. Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam will be written type. The exam will be divided into two papers. SSC MTS Paper 1 will be objective type and SSC MTS Paper-II will be of conventional type.
The total time duration for SSC MTS Paper-1 is 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and 2 hours (120 minutes) for visually handicapped candidates. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in SSC MTS exam.

SSC MTS Exam Syllabus:- SSC MTS Exam Syllabus will be as follows:-
General Intelligence and Reasoning- But the questions will be non-verbal considering the tasks attached to the post. The questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, questions on General Awareness will also be of equal standard.
General Intelligence: It will consist of non-verbal type questions.
English language: The understanding of the candidates about the basics of English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc., will test their writing ability.
Numerical Aptitude: This paper will cover the question of Number System, Calculation of Whole Numbers, Calculation of Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Percentage, Ratio and Ratio, Profit, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
general awareness: The questions will be designed to test the candidate’s ability of general awareness of the environment around him and its application to the society.
The questions will be designed to test the knowledge of current events and their scientific aspects in such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of an educated person.
This exam will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially related to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scenario, general polity including Indian constitution and scientific research etc.
