Reliance Jio has bought the largest spectrum in the auction.
According to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), the company has taken Spectrum Auction in 800 MHz during the auction. This has increased the company’s footprint footprint by 55 percent. RJIL has also acquired the spectrum used for 5G technology.
RJIL has the most sub-GHz spectrum in most circles. Not only this, the company has at least 2X10 MHz in 1800 MHz band in all 22 circles and 40 MHz spectrum in 2300 MHz band. The company has achieved the required spectrum in every circle, with an average validity of 15.5 years. RJIL has acquired the spectrum at an effective cost of Rs 60.8 crore per MHz. Jio users will also get a big benefit from this acquisition. Now the company can provide the best telecom service to millions of new subscribers as well as old customers all over the country.

Government said, auction was better than expected
This spectrum auction, conducted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), ended today on 2 March 2021 on the second day of the bidding. In this, 2,308.80 MHz spectrum of four lakh crore rupees was put up for auction in a total of 7 bands. A total of Rs 77,146 crore bids were received on the first day of the auction. Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea participated in it. The government said that the auction has been better than expected.
