Darbhanga: With the scheme of Bihar government, now the marriage of daughters in rural areas will be done in urban style. The government has started a scheme to build comfortable and grand Kanya Vivah Mandal in rural areas. Under this, a building will be prepared for the wedding and Rs 50 lakh will be spent for it. Under the scheme, the first phase will be done in Darbhanga district and the process of construction work has been started by identifying land in 31 panchayats. The most special thing about this scheme is that it is going to provide employment to local women.
13200 square feet space in each marriage hall
It is being told that on this scheme, the Panchayati Raj Department has decided to spend Rs 50 lakh for the construction of each building. This marriage hall will be two storeyed and will have two big halls, several rooms, toilet, bathroom, kitchen set, and adequate parking. Each marriage hall will have a minimum space of 13200 square feet.
Chief got the responsibility of building construction
The Panchayati Raj Department has decided to spend Rs 50 lakh for the construction of each building. The responsibility of construction of the building has been given to the local head. The first installment of Rs 5 lakh has been released to start the construction work. Now with the amount of this first installment, Mukhiya will start the construction work of the building.
Local women will get employment
The biggest thing is that after the completion of construction, these buildings will be operated by women of self-help groups associated with livelihood. This will not only manage the building properly but will also create new employment opportunities for local women.

Under this scheme, 31 bride marriage halls to be built in Darbhanga district are Banauli, Rampura, Tektar, Arai Birdipur, Barhi, Barol, Nanaura, Majhigama, Akbarpur Bank, Neuri, Ganon, Banka, Jamalpur, Rasiyari Pauni, Narkatia Bhandaria, Jhagrua, Dhaniya, Jhagrua Tarwara, Khaisa Jamalpur, Sahaspur, Dhiya, Kevatgama, Work will be done in Baghat, Naiyam Chhatauna, Hanumannagar, Sinuara, Alinagar, Adhaloam, Hariyath and Motipur Panchayat. This will be the best scheme for the people of rural areas, provided it is operated in a systematic manner.
