Sugarcane farming is profitable farming. The farmer gets good income from this farming. Because once sugarcane is cultivated, it can be harvested thrice and earn good profits. If a farmer cultivates sugarcane scientifically, he can harvest it thrice by sowing the seeds once. These days sugarcane harvesting is going on. Special care is required for its harvesting. Because at the time of harvesting, cut 4-6 cm upper surface from the roots, so that the next crop can also be prepared from it. Due to this, the farmer gets three times the benefit.
After harvesting the sugarcane, keep the remaining sugarcane leaves in the entire field and fill it with water. After that add urea and de-composer cow dung fertilizer in the field. This is very good for the crops growing in the fields, due to which the farmers get good production. After harvesting the sugarcane crop, apply water to the harvested field to prepare it for the second time. After this, apply urea in the field. According to agricultural scientists, spray 70-75 kg urea per acre in the sugarcane field. After applying urea in the field, clean the field and hoe the field so that the growth of the crop increases and it gets ready on time.
Farmer Vipin Kumar told that he has been cultivating sugarcane for a long time. For sowing of sugarcane, sprouts of harvested sugarcane are mixed with pesticides and sown by making ridges in the fields. Its sowing method is done by making ridges like potatoes. Sprouted sugarcane is buried in the middle of the same ridge. Leaves start emerging in 25-30 days after sowing. Weeding and cleaning of fields is also done. As the crop grows, care becomes most important for it. Because there is a fear of insects in the growing crop. Due to which there is loss in the crop. Sugarcane becomes ready between October and November. After this they are taken to the markets to sell. Sugarcane is sold according to size in the market.
