The bangle market in Sonpur, the world famous cattle fair, is filled with colorful bangles and bracelets. Women from far and wide have flocked to buy them. There are animal markets, handicrafts and delicious dishes in the main courtyard of the fair, but the largest gathering of women was seen at the bangle stall of Firozabad. Red, green, yellow, blue – bangles of every color are shining. Artisans say that along with traditional glass bangles, designer bracelets also became popular. Tourists are buying these as souvenirs.
