Police claim that Sajid was in contact with Pakistani handlers and was radicalized online. According to the investigation, some youth older than his age were also associated with Sajid, in search of whom the police is conducting raids at different places. According to officials, this network was planning to carry out a major attack in Jammu.
But meanwhile, while talking to StuffUnknownIndia, Sajid’s mother has made a very emotional appeal. Crying, she said that her son was completely innocent and had been trapped in a dangerous trap. Sajid’s mother said, “My son offers prayers five times a day… He doesn’t have the courage to think of attacking anyone. My son has been dragged into some conspiracy.” Sajid’s mother has also appealed to the Prime Minister to conduct a fair investigation into her son. He claimed that Sajid might have been involved in some conspiracy by coaxing or forcing him, but he himself is not a boy with terrorist mentality.
How did Sajid, who came to prepare for NEET, reach suspicious group calls? In response, Sajid’s mother claimed that “he had become friends with boys older than his age only two months ago and it was they who trapped him because Sajid’s phone was also used by the same people.” 19 year old Sajid, resident of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, is in the custody of the police. According to the police, he was in touch with Pakistani handlers and also used to do recce of sensitive areas of Jammu.
Used to take Sajid on the pretext of feeding him biryani.

Sajid’s mother said, “My child got trapped in the trap of some boys. They used to take him with them from the mosque after namaz on the pretext of feeding him biryani and used him on the pretext of playing phone games.”
Sajid came to Jammu to prepare for NEET
Sajid’s mother said that her son had come to Jammu from Reasi to prepare for NEET. He said, “We had rented a house in Jammu just for him. Reasi is a small area where there were no proper preparation facilities, so we brought him along with the entire family to Jammu two and a half years ago. Two months ago, we rented a room in Bathindi for Sajid’s studies because the library where he studied was in Bathindi itself.”
Sajid used to go to offer Namaz five times a day
According to the mother, Sajid used to go to offer Namaz five times a day and at some age he became friends with older boys. Sajid used to come home and tell that those boys used to feed him. Those boys were not seen in the area after their arrest. According to the family, Sajid had an app through which he used to talk to many people on group calls. Two months ago he had bought a second hand mobile which was used by Sajid’s mother and sometimes Sajid too. The youth from whom the second hand phone was purchased has also been detained.
Mother’s appeal to PM
Sajid’s mother showed his medals in her hand and said tearfully, “My child is innocent… I request the Prime Minister to conduct a thorough investigation and send my son home.”
Sajid wanted to become a doctor
Police sources say that Sajid wanted to become a doctor, but he was radicalized. He used to roam around and do recce in the sensitive areas of Jammu for hours, he is not alone, but he also has some other boys along with him, who are part of a group call network… soon their whereabouts will also be known.
Sajid told during interrogation that 4-5 of his friends, who were older than him, also used his phone, and those boys also made Sajid friends with people from Saudi Arabia and Dubai. And some newly made friends had sent him videos. According to police sources, the investigation is currently going on and it is being ascertained who are those other youths with whom Sajid was in group calls through the app. Sajid used to talk on group calls through Telegram and another app. According to the family, they knew that he talks to his friends… but who were the friends and where they were from, it could not be known.
