An 8 feet long Indian Rock Python was seen today in the garden of Krishna Kumar in Pichri village of Bokaro. Due to which there was panic among the local people. People believed that snakes were not visible during cold days. But his myth was broken by this incident.
Bokaro: There was a sensation in Pichri village of Bermo block of the district on Friday afternoon when an 8 feet long Indian Rock Python was seen in the garden of Krishna Kumar. To see this, a huge crowd of people gathered in the area and people contacted snake friend Gautam Digar, then Gautam reached the spot and after a lot of effort, he safely rescued the python and left it in the forest.
According to Krishna Kumar, a resident of Pichhari, his family members had seen this huge python in the garden at different times for the last several months and each time it would hide after being seen for a while. Because of which the whole family was living in fear and tension, because there were small children in the house and they were always afraid that something untoward might happen. In such a situation, after the safe rescue of the python today, he heaved a sigh of relief and said that he will be able to work in the garden without any fear.
Are snakes visible in cold?
Meanwhile, snake friend Gautam told that snakes are rarely seen in winter, but many big snakes like pythons come out to bask in the sun. He further said that the Indian Rock Python is a rare and completely non-venomous snake, which does not cause any harm to humans, hence their conservation is very important because they play an important role for the environment.
While giving information, snake friend Gautam said that he has been rescuing snakes for the last 10 years and he got inspiration for this from his grandfather Chitu Digar who used to rescue snakes and help people. In such a situation, he also carried forward the family tradition and his aim is to make every citizen in Bermo area aware so that in future no one dies due to snake bite.
