Sitharaman held pre budget meeting
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (FM Nirmala Sitharaman) has organized a meeting in the capital Delhi today through video conferencing. In this meeting, Sitharaman has discussed the upcoming budget 2021-22 with the finance ministers of states and union territories.

Let us tell you that in this meeting, the Finance Minister got to know his views about the budget from all the people. Apart from this, the needs and demands of every state were also discussed. Earlier, PM Modi also held talks with leading economists of the country. Looking at the upcoming budget, economists also advised them, among them, the reduction of import duty on certain things, in view of Kovid-19, promoting recapitalization and privatization of banks are the main ones.

Budget will be presented on 1 February
The second General Budget (Budget 2020) of the second term of the Modi Government will be presented on 1 February 2020. Everyone has high hopes from this budget. But, the biggest challenge before the government is to bring the country’s economic growth back on track. Everyone is giving their suggestions regarding the upcoming budget. Along with this, the government had provided the facility on the MyGov platform to ensure maximum participation of people in the discussions of Budget 2021-22.

Budget will be presented at 11 o’clock
Sitharaman will present the Union Budget at 11 am on February 1. The Lok Sabha Secretariat gave this information. This was recommended by the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA).
