Sitamarhi News: Anushka, daughter of Manish Mishra and Vanita Mishra, residents of Pakdi of Riga block of Sitamarhi district, has been selected in the national wrestling competition. Anushka is currently a student of class VIII in Sanskar Bharti Public School, Bhasar.
Anushka Mishra, daughter of Manish Mishra and Vanita Mishra, residents of Pakdi of Riga block of Sitamarhi district, has proved it once again. Talent does not need any resources. On the strength of her hard work and continuous practice, Anushka has achieved great success in the field of wrestling. She performed brilliantly in the selection competition held in Jamui on 1st December. Got first position in Under-17, 65 kg category. On the basis of this achievement, he has been selected for the 69th National School Boys and Girls Wrestling Competition 2025.
Anushka is currently a student of class VIII in Sanskar Bharti Public School, Bhasar. Along with studies, his seriousness and discipline towards sports have taken him to this position. District Sports Officer Mohd. Expressing happiness over Anushka’s achievement, Islam said that just as the daughter of the district has made a name for herself at the state level, in the same way she will bring glory to Sitamarhi by winning a medal on the national stage. He told that for the first time after 2018, a girl has been selected in the national wrestling competition, which is a matter of pride for the district.

The school’s wrestling coach Gautam Kumar appreciated Anushka’s hard work, regular practice and dedication towards the sport. According to him, Anushka has always been a self-disciplined player and willing to learn. Due to which she has achieved this important achievement at a young age. School Director Braj Kishore Rai also congratulated Anushka on behalf of the entire school family and said that her selection at the national level is an honor not only for the school but for the entire district. Anushka will achieve even bigger successes in the times to come. Various sports organizations of the district have also expressed happiness over Anushka’s selection. Officials of District Weightlifting Association, Football Association, Kho-Kho Association and Powerlifting Association congratulated him and wished him better performance in the national level competition.
