Bareilly: Forms of 15.84 lakh voters have been uploaded in Bareilly. However, the exact percentage of total forms submitted is not clear. But Bareilly district administration is trying to speed up the work. A statewide data for Uttar Pradesh shows that more than 63% of the forms have been submitted. But this figure may be different in different districts. So far 56% forms have been submitted in Bareilly district. Both people and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are facing problems in filling and submitting SIR forms in Bareilly city. Problems like server down while uploading the forms to BLO officers, names of people not matching in the 2003 counting list, or those who do not have correct information about which document to submit, these problems mainly include lack of time, work pressure and non-cooperation by some voters. Many voters are still waiting for their BLO to fill the form and submit it back. Due to which the work is getting delayed. Complaints have also come from some places that voters are misbehaving with BLOs. Or not cooperating. Forms of about 15.84 lakh voters have been uploaded in Bareilly, but more than 2.83 lakh names have not been found in the voter list of 2003, due to which there is difficulty in verification. At the booths where less than 5% of the forms have been digitized, officials are being called and reviewed and instructions have been given for action.
Santosh Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate, while talking to News 18 Local, said that the process of SIR is being conducted at every booth by the Election Commission from November 4 to December 4. (BLO) officers are going to every booth and getting it completed. The counting forms are being distributed door-to-door to all the voters, which have been printed on the basis of the voter list of 2025. The problems people are facing in filling the census forms are being resolved continuously. It is mandatory for every voter to have his or her guardian’s name in the voter list of 2003. If the voter’s name is not in the voter list, then it is mandatory to have the name of his/her guardian parents in the 2003 list. Voters are facing this problem the most.

After the form distribution, our BLOs are continuously contacting the people from door to door and requesting them to give us their information by filling the vote counting form as per the time. Bareilly administration officials are also providing main power through supervisors to the booth where BLO officers are facing problems. Municipality, Municipal Corporation and different teachers have been trained and BLO officers have been appointed at every booth. Who are cooperating with the people in filling the enumeration form. Any voter can also apply online by filling the enumeration form online.

BLOs could not find 1.23 lakh voters
Deputy District Election Officer Santosh Kumar Singh said that during the BLO survey, 1,23,421 voters were not found in their homes. In this, 46,992 voters have died, while the remaining voters are not being found by BLOs due to shifting to other areas or due to other reasons.
